Last week, the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) detained a total of 473 citizens, 471 foreigners and two nationals, for illegal entry and stay in the territory and 481 foreign citizens were expelled from the country by administrative decision.

According to the report released by the SME management, a total of 302 foreign citizens of different nationalities left the country, through the UAL (airport) and the border post of Luvo, voluntarily leaving the country, due to the loss of their documents and due to illegal stay.
50 citizens were also refused entry into Angola due to lack of travel documents, in this sequence, 14 citizens were also prevented from leaving the country, seven nationals and seven foreigners due to lack of proof of Covid-19 tests.
The public also received 3,652 cases for nationals and 2,458 for foreigners and 2,795 documents were issued for foreigners, as well as the delivery of 2,849 documents for nationals and 2,460 for foreigners.
With regard to total control of passengers, 14,178 entered and 15,099 left the country.
