mother in preventive detention
The spokesperson for SIC-Luanda, superintendent Fernando de Carvalho, who was shocked by the mother’s attitude, asked for greater responsibility on the part of parents in the treatment of their children.
“It is not understood that a woman waits for nine months of pregnancy and a few more years of the child’s life, and then throws her out on the street”, she said, considering it sad that “the minor herself, now, says she does not want to see her mother ”.
The officer, visibly moved by the happy outcome of the case, appealed to parents to avoid situations that cause suffering to children.
Fernando de Carvalho announced that Ana Hebo, the child’s mother, has already been heard by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and the sentence of preventive detention has been decreed. The criminal process will continue until it reaches the court.
