In the exams that end on the 23rd of this month, according to a note from the Ministry of Health, 1,125 participate for medical careers, 2,776 for nursing, diagnostic and therapeutic technicians 1,221, hospital support 764, general regime 158 and 54 social workers.
According to official data, the number of professionals in the health sector in Angola increased from 63,738 permanent professionals to 96,831 as a result of two public tenders held (2018 and 2019), allowing an increase of 35.01 percent.
