Three members of the Tucker family, descendants of the first Angolan slaves to reach the territory of the United States of America, arrive in Angola on Monday (13), a reverse trip to discover its origins, at the invitation of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.

The trip of these three family members namely, Wanda Tucker, Carolita Cope and Vincent Tucker, to the country takes place after they met with João Lourenço, during their working visit to Washington DC, in September of the current year.
According to a note from the Angolan embassy in the United States of America, the family left this Saturday anxiously leaving Washington DC with a stopover in Lisbon, with an expected arrival in Luanda on Monday morning (13).
